We’ll Meet Again – Hits from the Blitz

Audience’s can relive the spirit of the Forties in a wonderful  afternoon performance of Hits from the Blitz, with lots of singalong tunes that will bring back warm memories. The celebration show pay’s tribute to the legendary stars of the war years, Vera Lynn, Donald Peers, Gracie Fields, George Formby, Bing Crosby, and famous comedians., Max Miller and Tessie O’Shea.  The show is set in a wartime Garrison Theatre with the ENSA artistes, and live Musical backing of the Martyn St James Sound.  Starring ANDY EASTWOOD Brilliant Musical Star, Comedian STEVE BARCLAY, Star Vocalists SHELLEY JAMES and TONY LEYTON, and Host MERVYN FRANCIS.  This special show promises not only to evoke the spirit of Wartime Britain, but to experience the music and laughter that kept Britain smiling through her darkest days.

Take a trip back in time to a world of the 1970’s biggest pop sensation!  Join Les McKeown for an evening of Hit Songs, Teenage Memories, and Stories full of Living Nostalgia!!!  With over 300 million albums sold worldwide, Les McKeown, was the original voice on every Bay City Rollers hit song. He had five years of unprecedented success dominating the pop music charts across the globe, with Number 1 hit singles in over 40 countries and the band filling the biggest stadia wherever they went. ‘Rollermania’ had overtaken ‘Beatlemania’, the first time any UK group had come close to the Fab 4.  In this brand new production Les McKeown performs some of the songs that influenced him whilst growing up and recollects first hand about those heady, crazy days of pop superstardom.  The show is topped off with the big hits of the Bay City Rollers including ‘Shang A Lang’, ‘Summer Love Sensation’, ‘Remember’, ‘All Of Me Loves All Of You’ and the biggest selling song of 1975 ‘Bye Bye Baby’.
